Overexposed [Open]

Post by Omega Bailey on Wed 6 Aug - 14:22

Bailey knelt down next to a woven basket filled with fresh clothes that were still warm from being taken out of the dryer. She sat inside a cabin, far out into the neutrals from both packs from what she could tell according to popularity and scent. It was a convenient size, and by the looks of it, it was barely touched. The Omega didn't think however she was the only one to of been in here before, but the case still rested as to whom has been here, even if for a visit, she wondered. The little wooden home was reasonably large according to her, though so where a lot of houses. She was not immune to the idea of living in such big places, and never has. Every day she still found herself more lost than the last time when trying to maneuver around the castle, let alone her own room. This made her wonder if she were ever going to get the hang of things around her, and doubt herself highly because of it. While attempting to fold her laundry, she was stopped short-handed by a soft mewl and swift padding of feed heading down the hall to her far left. Within a few seconds, Nirvana, her cat, had jumped and slipped into the basket of clothes, "Nirvana..." She said slowly whilst shaking her head. Bailey giggled and softly patted the domestic pet before scratching her affectionately behind the ear, one of her favourite spots to be touched. She was learning to take risks more often it seemed, what with owning an animal to herself and whatnot. There was still that chance where the cat wasn't allowed in the castle, and she was not willing to take that if she weren't allowed as an Omega to have one. She was also afraid of what would happen if she got caught with the feline, what they'd do to the pet in general, let alone herself. That fear was what pur most of her life in peril.

Getting back up, she allowed Nirvana some space to rest within her comfortable mountain of cotton, silks and other materials while the Omega made herself useful with a small meal to get her by. There wasn't much she could afford other than the basics of some macaroni, a couple frozen pizzas, the ingredients to make PB&J and a liter of soda in the fridge. She figured that'd be enough anyway, at least for her human diet. The other half could be taken care of if she decided to go hunting. For now, she would stick to the normal foods instead of the blood, at least then everyone is safe and she isn't putting herself out there to find more trouble. With a little effort, she managed to pull all of her hair up into a messy bun, tied neatly with a light orange bandana she found while snooping in the closet. There were a bunch more to choose from, but she liked the orange color more, and it matched the shipping nail polish on her toes. She wore a baggy light brown opened cover up over a nice lacy tank top, along with tight ripped denim-washed shorts, assessed with her golden locket with her initials. Inside was a picture of her biological father and mother when they were dating, but she never got to see them before they died. Only a picture to hold on to. Putting on her sandals, she fixed herself a cup of coffee and walked out side to the dock. The dock was accompanied by large colorful boats floating across the water neighboring the supporting structures. Before her was a painting, something one would see in a geography booklet or photo for a vacation brochure. Setting the coffee cup down, she set her phone with it and crossed her arms over her chest as she looked out at the sunset over the mountains. This was probably the nicest place she had been yet, and she would definitely take the consideration of returning once she got the chance to.

Climbing her way around the tall trees, she watched the sunset peak around the branches that almost completely shut the light out. The beautiful setting made her smile at her presence. Breathing in the fresh air with the noise of bushes, rustling from the small wind that drafted at her feet. It smelled like the outside, which was ironic because she is outside. So she took a stop at a tree that had longer branches, but was shorter. Thinking back to science class, she remembers that only some trees make it to the top. Others become shorter, because the taller ones canopy over the others. No sun, no growth. So as the wolf and her took a rest at the smaller tree, she leaned against it and took in the view. Closing her eyes, she just listened to any sound of movement she heard. 'Crunch'... 'Crunch'... Was a rabbit hopping across the forest floor. 'Chirp'... 'Chirp'... Was two robins, the male trying to attract a female. Love.. It was so hard to find, thought Lei. She also thought of Kaehl, the young, wolf that she had a short affair with. Tall, handsome, built. Definitely a great kisser and other things. Which made the female smile. Stopping short at her thought, she decided to straighten up and forget about the filthy male. Who decides to ignore her after their short time together. Shaking her head, not sure at her or the thought of him. But, she just continued on her journey. Leilani jumped over a bolder that blocked her path and she jogged out to a field of weeds. Lying a wooden building, a cabin she assumed. Looking to her left, she saw a dock and a row of boats floating beside each other. All sorts of colors.. Blue, red, and yellow. Primary colors. And then a deep blue river, which had wooden planks led on top of it. Following the line of planks, she saw a young female. Not the scent of Cadesque, which means she's from Venantium or a Loner. Venantium.. She remember the scent from Kaehl. Inching closer, one bye one she snuck closer. Midway, she stopped and acknowledged herself. "Venantium.. Haven't seen some for quite sometime. Who are you?" Leilani, just completely went into defensive mode and crossed her arms with a dead look on her face.

The passive and fragile flower bloomed a gentle glow in the mists of another, but who was she to know such a thing was present amid her own air of breath? Perhaps not as highly as she so wished, but the sour rush of a cold wind did brush down her neck and curl within the caverns of her nose with a slightly distasteful smell - however she misplaced it for the lake's water and cool surface to what made her shudder so. Blindly watching the ripples forming around the crystal top of the water, she purposely swung her carelessly dangling legs too and fro with a playful pleasure, smiling to her knobby knees and allowing the world to settle to the sound of nature's hum. Long lashed golden eyes batted towards the other side, observing the mountainside as if she needed it in order to live, studying each and every inch of it and caressing it with her vision like one would for the one they loved. She knew nothing of the feeling, but wished for it, though as much as she might try, she would never be able to muster a word to whomever she would come upon liking like that someday. Only the clouds knew when that time would come for her, if it were to come after all, and she'd be able to live her dream of a happy ever eternal after. ...Someone is here... The wolf suddenly hissed from within, causing her to be startled and anxious as she remained still in her seat. And her instincts were right, the creaking of boards on the harbor weren't the wind behind here or any of that context, actually - someone was in fact close. Bailey did not turn her head to see as to whom it was, but simply listened, slightly biting her inner cheek as she feared what this wereling could do and what she couldn't to her. But as the individual spoke, her brows narrowed down at the water, and her counterpart hissed in demand that she depart from this rude fae before anything were to happen. She meant no trouble - but she certainly wasn't going to take such behavior from someone she didn't know and wasn't from her pack. Holding her ground, she pretended to ignore the woman and not say a word - actions are louder than words, and the omega was not in the mood for the devil's tricks.
