Post by Warrior Josaiah Fri 13 Mar - 20:39

Josaiah stood there unable to remove the smile from his face as he gazed at the man. Who stared back in a mix of horror and furious defiance. Even though the creature was far more weaker than an individual like himself it was funny how they always showed that defiance. As if that simple act alone would be a sure fire way of bluffing their way to safety. He covered him mouth a gitty giggle bubbling up from his chest. The man glared more futilely at him, clasping onto the ruined part of his Achilles tendon. Though as damaged as he was there was still some mobility in the male. Taking a deep breathe he slowly let it out getting himself under better control. From the smell of things around here this area was one of the pack territories. If he was going to investigate what they were about he might as well bring them something to play with. Josaiah held a finger up grinning at the man, who had slightly paled from minor blood loss, "how about we play a little game here?" The man across the way visible swallowed, seeming to even dread the thought of what his mind could work at.

It only made him all the more amused that the guy couldn't even manage to muster up any sort of response. Though it wasn't from a lack of trying the  guy was just to afraid too."Lets have a little race shall we, back to that pretty little female of yours back in camp. If you beat me, she lives and if you don't," Josaiah smiled ever so slightly broader. Letting the statement hang in the air unfinished. Josaiah smiled clapping a couple of times as the man struggled to his feet.Well at least he seemed up to the task, that was a good thing. "That's the spirit, BRAVO! And just to show you just what a nice guy I am I'll give you a five minute head start so best get moving  for it starts now," Josaiah chimed smiling.  He waved nonchalantly at the man as he gave him a suspicious look and limped away as quickly as he could. It was like he half expected him to stab him in the back the moment his eyes left him but in truth that wouldn't be very sporting of him would it.As the man disappeared from view he stood there counting in his head but at three minutes he got bored and started towards the human camp. It wouldn't have mattered whether he had given the man the full time anyway, he new a short cut that was otherwise inaccessible to humans.

Josaiah quickly traversed down the rocky face and jumped the gap over the river. No human in their right mind would have been able to make such a leap that without some sort of help. Still smiling Josaiah made his way down into the dingy little camp, the smell of camp coffee reaching him from the fire. Strolling over he picked up one of the cups and poured himself one, listening to the woman as she rummaged about inside the tent. Taking a seat he blew lightly across the top of the cup watching the woman in silence. For the longest time his presence went unnoticed by the woman until the turned and gave a start to find she wasn't alone. The woman's eyes narrowed dangerously on him as she slowly stepped out of the tent. Josaiah smiled at her"sorry I didn't mean to startle you, Jakob said to wait here while he grabbed something from the car." The woman looked at him in surprise at the use of her mates name. "Oh where are my manners," Josaiah chuckled setting the cup aside as he rose, extending a hand to the woman "I'm Josaiah, you see Jakob and I got to  talking and he invited me to come and hang out for a bit." He gave her hand a reassuring shake as she took it. As he stood there he smiled in silent amusement as he could smell the approach of the male on the breeze.

He was only half listening to the woman as she talked, it always seemed to be the same topic genre anywhere he went. Why couldn't people find something real interesting to talk about? As the man stumbled into camp his eyes widened in shock. Josaiah smiled as they both turned to him and he raised an arm resting it lightly around the shocked woman's shoulders "why Jakob you're late!" The woman looked at the guy and shock and went to pull away but he easily tightened his grip keeping her in place. Jakob bristled glaring at him "let her go!" Josaiah held a finger up smirking and making a tsking sound with his tongue "come now what kind of a man would I be if I didn't keep my word?" Removing his arm from around her shoulders he lashed out and struck the woman hard in the side of the knee with an audible crack of the bone. An agonized scream escaped from the woman as she went down hard on the ground beside him. Jakob took a step towards her and than froze looking at him. Josaiah smiled looking at him and clapped his hands together "isn't this wonderful, camp site antics. Can't say I remember the last time I had any." He corked an eyebrow curiously as an unfamiliar wereling scent reached him. So it would seem that his presents had finally been noted and he was going to meet someone of these elusive packs. Josaiah busted up laughing "by god where have my manners gone today it would seem we have a visitor, do please come out and join us."

Our Scarlet Lady Empty Re: Our Scarlet Lady

Post by Warrior Silas Tue 17 Mar - 16:38

- Warriors aren't allowed to post to borders, but Silas has been able to have certain permissions through Noctavia so he can improve in rank.

In the mists of the night, a dark soul emerged from the shadows and slipped into the oblivion, the inevitable truth to drown quietly within his own growing insanity. Not an ounce of remorse weighed down on his stocky shoulders, but already was the devil's spawn beginning to earn a wanted sign to hang around his neck, as it was blood that was dripping from his very hands. He licked them cleanly as he stood above a fallen figure, a sly smile only to be seen in the little light that casts over his angled, stubble-covered jaw - the only thing else to be found are two different colored eyes staring deathly through the shadows that covered the rest of his monstrous identity. Without a moment to lose, he sneaked away when the time had come to another unlucky victim headed his way, but he had no use for him as a meal. This individual was no bigger than him, no different in size or shape, which was a benefit for selfish reasons. Looking left and right, the spawn reached out and grabbed the man by his throat without hesitation, slamming him into the wall with enough force against the mortal's back to know the wind out of him. The human looked at the shaded figure that was choking him with fearful eyes, grunting and attempting to yell for his life as his windpipe was caving. Soon, he lost consciousness, handing the wereling the perfect opportunity to swipe off his sweatshirt and replace it with his blood-stained one around him. Fortunately for the victim, the apprentice was too nice to leave his most valued items under the body so they wouldn't be found so easily if someone were to try and steal from him, all but a set of blunts he found stored in one of the pockets. It would be of great use later, he thought with a smirk. He cut a wound along the man's collar-bone to think that he was injured and bled out onto his supposedly owned hoodie. Before anyone else could come along, Silas zipped the sweatshirt up all the way to a few inches from the top, keeping his nose pointed towards the floor to hide any suspicion as he walked down the alleyway.

The end of his nose twitched with curiosity, allowing the air to waft around him some more as he kept moving passed the many dark corners that made up the French neighborhood. Empty warehouses, abandoned buildings and creepy alleys like the ones he traveled in were most likely the only things that reminded him of home, which was where he spent most of his time other than a secret place he had stored to his own knowing against his parents and pack family. The only difference between these alleyways and the ones back home, was there were stars to gaze over his head instead of the typical moving helicopter lights he would see in the great city of New York. It was a lot reserved here, something he wasn't normally immune to, but was slowly learning to like the more permanent their stay was becoming. He stepped out onto the sidewalk and observed his surroundings, allowing a group of attracting mortal women to pass with a few seducing glances to be returned. They spoke in the usual foreign language according to their kind and giggled when they saw him watching from a safe distance. This made him smirk and dip his head, all the while catching a glimpse of their cute, perky rears until he turned in the opposing direction down the lonely streets. Before long, he was near home and its territory lines, crossing them with a natural ease only given permission to those which strived there as one. The pack’s smell was no different than what it had always been, but was now drenched in the lingering scent of pine needles and other herbs due to the type of region his mother embedded their lands within. He was not too fond of the choice, but he’d live with its isolation as best he could - there was a certain beauty to it and all, the nature and its ways of silence, but that life was not for him. He was born in the city, and despite him being a werewolf and how others would assume he’d want to live as far as possible from the noise, he almost enjoyed it in a sense.

Silas removed such things from his mind with the swipe of his mental noted hand, and quickly focused back onto the earthly floor as he faded back into his wolven form. A smokey, dark coat then cradled his body and he stood to his full ten feet, ears irreproachably erect and tail aloft and swaying against the back of his ankles. His bi-colored hues were no match in comparison to the colors around him. Though the color and scent of blood rising in his immortal sense of smell did however make him salivate from his mouth and form an irresistible desire within him to find. Chasing after the delectable noise of a mortals’ group of beating hearts, the wolf cooed a solemn growl and pranced forwards till he heard the choice beckoning him nearer - as if he were to summon the young warrior for the share of the kill. T’was another wereling amongst the mists which approved of the warrior’s appearance upon the opposing side, which he cared not to answer, but only slowly emerge from the shadows in greetings. It came no surprise to him as to what the male had to offer Caedesque with a bloody good show to make him pleased, as well as his mother, he so thought. "What have we here?" The young wolf replied, the inner voice of his counterpart hissing with an undefinable joy as his heart glowed and his hunger drove him to take another step.

Our Scarlet Lady Empty Re: Our Scarlet Lady

Post by Warrior Josaiah Mon 23 Mar - 18:39

His smile broadened ever so slightly as the other wereling stepped out of the trees. A pair of bi-colors eyes studying them with an almost keen interest.
Josaiah gave a slight bow to the other male "a bit of fun if you so care in joining." Straightening up he didn't miss the look of confusion on the mortal females face as she looked at him.She must think him crazy but in reality she didn't have to think or even state it, he knew he was crazy and he enjoyed every minute of it. He glanced over at Jace as he took a step towards them, as if a dim flame of determination still burned within him. That would be put out soon enough though, he'd make sure of that.

The man stopped and glared at him when he noticed the look. No matter what either of the pair did he easily be able to out maneuver them, they were just to slow by comparison. Catching movement to his side Josaiah quickly stepped back as the woman lounged at him with a small knife. Grabbing her by the wrist he twisted and wrapped his arm around her tightly as she gasped and dropped the knife.
"Well that was rather naughty of you," Josaiah chuckled softly and looked at her friend, who looked horrified. Giving a smirk he released her and delivered a savage strike to the side of her face that gave off an audible smack. As she crumpled to the ground Josaiah held up a finger grinning at the man halting him once again where he stood.

"What kind of man would I be if I didn't keep my word?" Josaiah asked looking at him. When the man's face paled he looked over at the other wereling thoughtfully. Surely this guy was just as bored as he was. In need of some sort of entertainment and what better form of entertainment was there than to play with a mortal's head and turn it against another? He put a thoughtful look on his face as he looked from the woman to the man.
"There might just be one way for one of you to get out of this," Josaiah murmured thoughtfully stepping aside allowing the man to rush to the woman's side. As the man did he put his toe under the abandoned knife, kicked it up and caught it. The man was to distracted to even notice.

Turning back he stepped up and knelt down slowly beside them pressing the handle of the knife into the woman's hand. Jace let out a furious growl and tried to lash out at him but stopped when he found his hand tightening around his throat. As Jace struggled momentarily he looked at the woman smiling gently.
"You can survive this, all you have to do is take that knife and drive it into this guy," Josaiah chuckled looking at her, "after all you don't need the company of a cheating bastard do you? I can smell the other bitch all over him." This of course was a lie but he knew that she wouldn't realize this. The expression on her face told him everything he needed to know, that she had already suspected such a thing. It was a shame that it wasn't really the truth.

Releasing the man he gentle caressed the woman's cheek. A behavior as if to tell the woman he had a gentle side when no such thing existed within him.
"I'm sure you deserve better and I know that deep down in there you aren't weak, you can do this, you can take what you want to hell with everyone else," Josaiah smiled and tilted his head slightly towards the man who looked confused and bewildered now. He slowly straightened up and stepped up behind the man. Josaiah gave a secretive wicked little smirk towards the other wereling. Though it was fun to kill mortals, it was even more amusing to toy with their emotions, to turn them against one another. It would only be a matter of moments he knew before the woman would snap, she was after all the weakest of the pair.
